Merry Christmas!
The Autumn term has now come to an end. It’s been another busy term at Dance Dynamic and it has been lovely to welcome so many new faces to the school.
Looking Back Over The Term
This term saw new classes added to the timetable as well as new days! We've had the Fun Bun Extravaganza and Bring a Friend to Dance as well as our weekly Star of The Week and Grooming Award Points!
Star of the Week
Congratulations to the following children who have been awarded Star of the Week in November and December: Emily Krupski, Lydia N’Jie, Chloe Grint, Darcy Rimmer, Isabella Foligno and Ella Fairbrother.
Grooming Award
Grooming Award Points have been given to the following children in November and December: Lydia Jones, Hope Cobbing, Emma Gyova, Florence Richardson, Emily Krupski and Matthew Foligno.
I am delighted to announce that the overall Grooming Award winner for this term goes to Emily Krupski! Emily won grooming award points on 3 separate occasions over the term!
Looking Ahead to 2017
2017 is starting to look like a very busy year at Dance Dynamic! On Saturday 25th February we have our fundraising Quiz Night & Supper and then in the summer it will be time for our second school show! I will even have some students taking ballet exams in between all that!
Classes resume on Thursday 5th January 2017. If in the meantime you are getting dance withdrawal symptoms then I can highly recommend the following programmes that are being shown on TV over the Christmas period:
Tuesday 20th December BBC1 at 10.45pm Darcey Bussell: Looking for Margot
Friday 23rd December BBC4 at 8.00pm Darcey Bussell: My Life on the BBC
Christmas Day BBC2 at 4.00pm Dancing the Nutcracker: Inside the Royal Ballet
And don't forget the Strictly final on Saturday 17th December and the Christmas Special on Christmas Day!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support. I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all in January!
