Quiz Night Fun!

What an amazing time we had at our Quiz Night on Saturday 25th February! Its the first fundraising event that we've done at the school and it was a huge success!

I never thought when we first started discussing the idea that so many people would come along, but when I looked at all the tables set up in the hall on the night I remember thinking 'Wow'! Its also certainly the biggest fish and chip order I've ever placed - 96 meals!

I must say a big thank you to Jordan for being our highly entertaining Quiz Master for the night. I do believe a new career as a quiz master and after dinner speaker awaits!!

A big thank you to everyone who came early to help set up, everyone who donated raffle prizes and Smiles in Beaconsfield for their delicious food! A special thank you also to some of my adult tappers who provided us with entertainment on the evening and impressed everyone with their dancing skills - I'm sure your delighted not to have to keep hearing Back to Black every Thursday evening though!

Congratulations to the winning team Generation Tap. It was very close - only one point separating them and the second placed team!

I had a rough idea of how much I wanted to raise on the evening, but thanks to everyone's generosity on the night and all the people who couldn't attend but made a donation, we completely smashed that target!

I am delighted to announce that we have raised a grand total of £818.00!!

The money raised is going towards ballet barres & equipment and towards the costume fund for our show in October! We are currently comparing prices on ballet barres from different companies and I am looking forward to getting them ordered, delivered and in use!
