Happy New Year!

Wow, one week of the new term gone already!

I hope everyone enjoyed their classes and didn't ache too much after their first week! 2016 is going to be another busy year at Dance Dynamic with exams in ballet, tap and modern!

Although it is not compulsory to take dance exams, I believe they offer many benefits. Children who participate in exams gain confidence and learn important life skills such as learning to concentrate in an examination environment which assists with their school exams and other similar situations. Participating in exams also gives a child a goal to work towards and an opportunity to receive an independent assessment of how they are progressing technically.

Here at Dance Dynamic we follow the syllabi for the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD). The ISTD is one of the world's leading dance boards with the widest range of dance genres available. The examination structure of the ISTD is designed to cater equally for those who wish to progress to making dance their profession, either as a performer or dance teacher and for those pursuing dance purely as a leisure activity.
